SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 16

and Yoder.
Commemorating Veterans Visibility Day.
Whereas, Many veterans have given a great deal of time and
effort in the defense and for the interests of this country; and
Whereas, Many veterans have risked life and limb while
fighting in the defense and for the interests of this country;
and
Whereas, Many veterans have endured life-long physical and
emotional injuries which occurred during times of conflict; and
Whereas, Our veterans deserve our deep appreciation and
gratitude for their efforts and accomplishments; and
Whereas, Veterans Visibility Day is on Wednesday, February
21, 1996; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That much appreciation is hereby expressed by the members
for the service of our veterans at times of conflict; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to the American Legion,
Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, Military
Order of Purple Heart, Vietnam Veterans of America, Pearl Harbor
Survivors, Marine Corps League, Paralyzed Veterans of America,
AMVETS, Retired Officers Association, Fleet Reserve Association
and Forty and Eight.
